This rare treat is a true treasure! A silver-tipped large leaf from the Nanjan Family of Vijayalakshmi Natural Farm in South India. Each leaf is hand-picked, lovingly processed and meticulously finished. A large twisted leaf that is perfect for brewing any way you would a complex oolong. Despite the high level of oxidation, no bitterness is imparted by this incredible leaf. The quality and love imbued really shows!

Ingredients: Black tea

Approximately 70mg of caffeine per cup

Steeping recommendation: Brew at 195°F or 90.6°C for 2-3 minutes and re-infuse several times.

it's so smooth

This tea is truly lovely! I usually go for fun and complicated blends but I really appreciate the pure flavor of this tea. It really is almost magical how it has that distinct black tea flavor with zero bitterness.

After trying a few cups of this, I find I like it at just a little over the 3 minute mark, which will give it that hint of bitterness that it lacks in the recommended 2-3 minute mark, which I find I prefer.
