HONEYFAIRYLAND Yellow Tea
HONEYFAIRYLAND Yellow Tea
This tea is one of our Pure White & Yellow selections. Check out the entire delicious collection here!
Oh, my friend. You have no idea what you've just discovered. Yellow teas are extremely rare due to their labor-intensive "sealed yellowing" or "smothering" phase and tendency to show off any imperfection in the leaf. This special process develops a buttery mouthfeel and floral-fatty delicate white chocolate aroma unmatched by any other style of tea!
The HONEYFAIRYLAND cultivar is Friday's white whale. The one that got away. The gold standard. THE yellow tea. We had the opportunity to try a sample years ago, and have been trying to get it in stock for you ever since. Finally, we've been able to bring on a small batch direct from the organic estate in Yunnan, China!
This pure tea tastes like Irish butter infused with golden-tipped, robust Yunnan Gold black tea. It's absolutely one-of-a-kind, and everyone who tastes it falls madly in love. This is almost certainly a gift from the fae realm, which we mortals are graced with occasional opportunities to savor.

I love this tea. It's unlike anything I've tasted before. Gentle and complicated. Cozy and sure enough of itself to stand up to multiple steeps. Delicious!
It’s so buttery and incredible! Imagine the best white tea you’ve ever tasted but more buttery and robust enough to pair with more powerfully flavored food. Expensive, but worth it, especially considering how many steeps I can get out of these leaves (one bag has lasted me basically all weekend). Will absolutely buy again!
Beautiful, buttery, soft tea that has a rich mouth feel. This one is becoming a favorite and worth the extra expense.
Every bit as good as Friday hyped it up to be.
I had never had yellow tea before this, and it really is magical! It's almost like buttery sparkles as it settles on your tongue. It is a little bit spending, but so worth it and good for several steeps each time.
