Colombian Black Leafy

I had a “hold up, Colombian Black Leafy is this fire??” moment on first sip with this tea. It is to die for. I got sent this as a sample with one of my orders and finally had it with just a couple cubes of sugar and it is practically divine. Great stuff, do not sleep on this!!

While not as complex as some Chinese or Nepalese black teas I’ve tried, the Columbian Leafy is SO smooth. It’s got such a nice balance of mild sweetness and solid tannins, with a short but clean finish. I don’t know how to explain it better, but this tea has the vibe of a friend who offers their pickup truck to help you move. Just nice and reliable and chill ☕️

This bold and rich brew has become my "I don't know what to do" grab and go tea. Strong and sturdy on the first brew out in the morning, like a strong arm helping me to crawl out of bed and get moving; the leaves become more subtle and cozy as the day progresses, an embrace that helps the day go by gently. An amazing companion for any day of the week.

This tea is so smooth and strong at the same time- I just love it for the morning, far more than English Breakfast, or other traditional black teas to wake you up!
