Creamy, sweet, and fruity, this chocolate black tea hits the spot as both a morning pick-me-up and an evening dessert tea! Delightfully reminiscent of a chocolate covered cherry. Try with a splash of brandy for a decadent nightcap!

Ingredients: Black tea, dark chocolate*, natural black cherry and chocolate fudge flavoring

     *Dark chocolate contains: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, ground vanilla bean 

Approximately 75mg of caffeine per cup for black tea base

Approximately 3mg of caffeine per cup for decaf black tea base

Steep at 212° F or 100°C for 2-4 minutes.

No chocolate or cherry

I got this as part of the Advent Calendar and I could tell as soon as I smelled it there was no chocolate or cherry in it at all. Taste confirmed; nothing but black tea. Very disappointing considering the quality of the shop's other teas.

We're so sorry to hear that your Choco Cherry disappointed! This is definitely designed to be a very fruit-and-chocolate-forward dessert tea, and when I tested the batch myself I was very happy with the level of chocolate and cherry in it. So strange! I can only imagine somehow a mixup occurred with that one and your envelope contained plain black tea. Rare, but errors like this do happen with handmade goods from time to time! No cherry flavor in the tea

Very surprised & disappointed at the lack of any cherry flavor in this tea. Not up to Friday’s usual standard of care.

Sue, I'm so sad to hear your batch was off! You're right, that does sound below our usual standard of care, and I can only imagine there was an oversight at the blending bench. If you contact me by email on the rare occasion these things do happen, I'll always be happy to approve an immediate replacement. I'll also remind my crew to double-check batches to be sure all ingredients are present, as this sounds like we left out our cherry extract. Thanks for letting us know!

Excellent tea for a caffeine free pick-me up

TLDR: Please see the convincing title above.
Long version: great tea with the right amount of tangy fruit and chocolate. This tea warms the heart and spirit. This is the kind of tea that you have in your cup while wrapped in a cozy blanket while admiring the weather outside your window.

Great cup!

This was another of my first orders from Friday Afternoon Tea. Delicious cup, more cherry notes than chocolate (especially when tried back-to-back with Witches Brew.)
