Inspired by the rhinestone-studded, piano-thumpin' piano icon himself, Rocketman is a glitzy glam glass of glittery gold oolong brew, featuring jammy persimmon and lush cacao, offset by spicy-sweet ginger. This tasty tribute won't go breakin your heart!

Ingredients: Oolong tea, cacao nib, persimmon, ginger, gold lustre dust*

     *Gold lustre dust contains: mica, titanium dioxide (E171), yellow 5 and 6 lake, rice extract, red 3, blue 1 lake

Approximately 50mg of caffeine per cup

Steep at 175° F or 79.4°C for 3-5 min

A fun twist on green oolong

The base oolong reminds me of Tie Guan Yin, and the persimmon adds a subtle and nice fruitiness, though I sort of wish it came through just a little stronger somehow (as in, trying to resist the inclination to pick at the persimmon pieces and deprive future brews of it..). Otherwise, I think it would be a great introductory blend to folks who are initially biased towards East Asian non-blends.
