CoffeeTea for me, please!
This remarkable blend of smooth, wiry black tea leaves and fruity crushed coffee beans hails from our partner farm in the Amazon rainforest of Colombia. Bitaco is a biodynamic farm and wildlife preserve staffed by well cared-for employees. We love supporting small farms like this. Good people doing good work and making great tea!
Ingredients: Black tea, coffee beans
Approximately 80mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 212° F or 100°C for 2-4 minutes.

This is one of my absolute favorite teas from Friday. It is one I have on subscription so I never run out. Love the combo of black tea and coffee, neither one overpowers the other.
Received a sample as part of my first mystery box order. It's about as what you expect-- it's smooth, malty, has that typical but still wonderful coffee aroma and makes a great latte. I'm not a coffee drinker since for whatever reason my body refuses to accept the pure bean juice without triggering the urge to hurl (espressos are barely any better too, sadly) but this goes down just right. In concept, a latte of this is kind of like a Hong Kong-style milk tea, but it's far gentler and that's just fine.
(P.S. I tried to experiment by mixing some of a Keemun sample from the same mystery box and threw in some medium roast Guatemala coffee beans hoping for a similar result, but it turned out completely different and way bitter. Friday/Greg, please advise!)
